Sasolburg Swimming Club was established in the late 60's, and ever since trained swimmers of exceptional high standard. 

Several Sprinbok Swimmers and swimmers representing South Africa was trained at Sasolburg Swimming Club ex : Esmè Oosthuizen (Ewert), Karin Louw, Douggie Eagar, Simon Gray, and more recently Heleen Muller and Junior Springbok Steph Potgieter. 

In die vroeër jare, het Sasolburg Swemklub deel uitgemaak van die Transvaal Liga, waar ons goed gevaar het.
Later is die Vaal Driehoek Swem Assosiasie gestig met Sasolburg Swemklub as een van die stigterslede.

Sasolburg Swimming Club operate closely with SASOL to stage the Sasol National Winter Championships for the past 43 years.
In conjunction with SASOL we impliment renovations and expansion to the pool, and to bring the latest technologies to the Penny Heyns Swimming Pool
in Sasolburg.

Throughout the years, there is a good understanding by the club committee, to assure that a capable committee is in control and  good sustainability exists.

Dit is die doel van die Sasolburg Swemklub om deurgaans afrigters van hoë gehalte daar te stel om swemmers af te rig, asook om beamptes van goeie
standaard op te lei.

Dit is ook ons strewe om die beste byeenkomste moontlik, by die Penny Heyns Swembad in Sasolburg aan te bied.
